About Thread Mediation

Thread's effective mediation, completed under the National Mediator Accreditation Standards (NMAS) via the Victorian Bar Association, involves a process wholly consistent with the NMAS methodology. It's a refined and thorough methodology. Thread works diligently every step of the way—from pre-mediation calls and preparation to post-mediation follow-up—toward helping all parties arrive at the best possible outcome to their dispute.

Thread Mediation provides a professional, sensitive, independent and non-judgemental approach to resolving disputes in a timely, cost-effective manner without going to court.  

Thread specialises in commercial, building/property, taxation, neighbourhood, wills/estates, workplace, and relationship/separation matters (excluding parenting/child welfare and intervention orders). Whatever the nature of the dispute, the parties and their advisors must have a good faith interest in trying to resolve the dispute on reasonable terms. If either party lacks such good faith going into the mediation, the chances of a resolution are lower.
